My Approach
Egalitarian
We are in this together. It is not my role to manage you, it is my role to teach you how to be excellent at serving others. It is your role to be open to learning and to bring your best, but not because I demand it, but because our clients deserve it.
Fundamentals
I will teach you how to master the basics. I will use ethics and values teach you the structure of how to serve others. I will use that structure to teach you the why and the how to use the fundamentals of assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and clinical notes to make you effective and efficient at helping people take on the toughest of challenges, by learning to simplify the challenge.
Integrate Theory
I will teach you how to integrate theory into your practice as a method to simplify the challenge. People are not always going to be able to share their story or even reluctant to let you in to their challenges. By learning to integrate theory into your practice it will fill in the gaps and allow you to communicate empathy, which should increase their hope, trust, and decrease their anxiety about facing the challenge ahead.
