My Approach
Fundamentals
I teach cliinicans how to master the basics. I will use ethics and values teach them the structure of how to serve others. I will use that structure to teach them the why and the how to use the fundamentals of assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and clinical notes to make them effective and efficient at helping people take on the toughest of challenges, by learning to simplify the challenge.
Integrate Theory
I will teach them how to integrate theory into your practice as a method to simplify the challenge. People are not always going to be able to share their story or even reluctant to let you in to their challenges. By learning to integrate theory into your practice it will fill in the gaps and allow them to communicate empathy, which should increase their client’s hope, trust, and decrease their anxiety about facing the challenge ahead.
Skill Development
I teach clincians how to apply structured evidenced based interventions, including Exposure Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and other interventions to ensure focused quality care.
